Bright Brewery's Darker Days has been building a fine reputation as a go-to winter festival in recent years.
Whether you're into delicious (and dark) beer or love live music in a beautiful location, it's got plenty to offer.
The 2024 edition on July 15 is headlined by The Delta Riggs, with the host brewery joined on the taps by Duncan's (NZ), Hop Nation, Dollar Bill and Dangerous Ales.

Carwyn Cellars' winter spin on their Canvent boxes returns for 2024 with another lineup of 12 deliciously dark beers.
You can read more about them here – or order one here (if they've not already sold out as they were going fast) – but, in short, each has been created by a top independent Aussie brewery and the average strength is around 11 percent ABV.
They cost $195 each – and we've nabbed one to give away to Crafty Cabal members.
Blackman's are hosting their Beer & Cheese Festival on May 4.
They've teamed up with local cheese gurus Splatter who will be hosting masterclasses alongside Blackman's head brewer Matt four pairings of beer and cheese.
For those not so fussed about the masterclass, you can do things at your own pace with a selection of cheese tastings, platters and gourmet picnic boxes there to put alongside any of the many fine beers on tap.

Nobody embraces hop harvest quite like Bridge Road Brewers.
They've been making harvest ales every year for way longer than any other Aussie brewer and host a festival celebrating the harvest in Beechworth every year.
These days, they release two fresh hop IPAs – Hazy Harvest (this year's a collab with Moffat Beach Brewing) and Dark Harvest (created with Deeds in 2024) – and we've got mixed packs featuring the pair to give away to Cabal members.
For many, Former Tenant will be a beer that needs no introduction. The early release from Modus Operandi perfectly balances hops and malt and the red IPA hasn't just impressed countless craft beer drinkers over the years, but the nation's judges too.
The beer's origin even predates the existence of Modus, with the Former Tenant name a reference to the old& inhabitants of their Mona Vale home, with cofounder Grant Wearin retracing the beer's first steps in this video.
So it's safe to say the Modus story has been entwined with that of Former Tenant and fittingly, the beer's making a return in 2024 to mark the family-run brewery's tenth birthday.

Black Brewing's Sunset Lager is an Aussie lager shot through with native Aussie flavours.

Since launching, Stockade Brew Co has wasted little time in getting its beers from its home at BrewPack as far and wide across the country as possible.

Tamworth may be best known as Australia's country music capital but since 2015, Tamworth BrewFest has been aiming to lift the regional city's beer profile too.
Held at the recently built Scully Park Regional Sporting Precinct, BrewFest invites breweries both local and national, large and small, into town to showcase their beers.

Black Dog is the little brewery that can, run by James Booth at his family's winery near Glenrowan.
